Their self titled debut album was released on April 23, 2013 and is currently available for purchase via iTunes. A-V feat Josh Hoge - "What Goes Around" (Anti-Bullying Song)

This is a song that I think everyone should hear due to its positive anti-bullying message. Bullying happens every day and can result in many negative behaviors such as substance abuse, mental health issues and even suicide. The beat is dope and A-V spits a story about bullying and how it affects the victims mental state. Vocals provided by Nashville singer Josh Hoge.

Kendrick Lamar - Good Kid, M.A.A.D City (Review)

Kendrick Lamar - Good Kid, M.A.A.D City (Review)

Good Kid, M.A.A.D City is the second album from Kendrick Lamar, following his critcally acclaimed Section.80 release. The album is a concept album, which is evident due to the fact that the cover states that the album is "a short film by Kendrick Lamar". Good Kid, M.A.A.D City was released on October 22, 2012, and features appearances from Dr. Dre, Jay Rock, Drake, Pharrell and MC Eiht, among others.

Black Milk - Synth or Soul (Album Stream)

Black Milk's latest instrumental album, Synth or Soul, is now available for streaming via the Computer Ugly SoundCloud page. The album attempts to blend together electronic-based music (synths) and with more human elements (soul) and the result banging. Black Milk rarely disappoints and he surely didn't on here. There are only twelve tracks and almost all of them hover around the two minute mark, so the album is short but sweet. It's hard to pick any standout instrumentals since the entire album is consistently dope and flows very well. Synth or Soul will be released on April 20, 2013 and is currently available for preorder via iTunes. Make sure you check it out. Very dope album.

Binary Star - Binary Star EP (Review)

Binary Star - Binary Star EP (cover)

Binary Star is a duo hailing from Michigan consisting of emcees/producers One Be Lo and Senim Silla. The group dropped their debut album, Waterworld, in 1999 and then dropped an expanded version of it, Masters of the Universe, in 2000. After that, the group went on hiatus as One Be Lo and Senim Silla worked on releasing solo albums. On March 29, 2013, Binary Star released the Binary Star EP, which is their first album in over thirteen years. Masters of the Universe is one of my favorite hip-hop albums of all time, so I was very excited to hear about the new EP.
