"I've always been in a rush and I felt like if I kept spending time out in the street, there was no way I was going to find myself in time to do something great. So, I was literally locked away in a basement, in a long-term, long-distance relationship, and struggling with my own brain chemistry—trying to learn the key to my own happiness so I could begin the pursuit. I brought on my own introspective depression and "Go Away" was probably all I would have had the energy to mutter if I could have personified pain and exchanged words.”

Klassik - Late2TheParty (Single)

Milwaukee emcee/producer Klassik just dropped a new single from his upcoming "Time Of Our Live LP, which will be dropping in early 2014.
"Often in the days of young, innocent, and brave hearts, love is desired most from the fickle and unattainable muse. The beautiful woman with too much attention and not a care in the world. “Late2TheParty”, Milwaukee artist Klassik’s latest piece, is a beautiful, poetic plea set within such a scenario. The succinct, yet masterfully arranged record, details the chase of the young, brave-hearted Klassik, going after his unattainable beauty. At first witty and adoring in its delivery, the cries of the big-hearted lover turn to a very frank and introspective acceptance of just how unrealistic his chase has become. His name isn’t on the guest list of her heart, but if he can just get there in time to say the perfect thing and win her over, his chase, though unrealistic, is never impossible."
The song is dope. Check it out below.

"Artist, producer, and writer Nevelle Viracocha is on his way to becoming a real problem for the industry. Equipped with a uniquely southern accent and impressively clever wordplay Nevelle seems to shed a shiny new light on what the future of hip hop holds. Still a fresh 21, he displays a level of raw lyricism that is harder to find in the young artists of today’s industry. As a result of moving rapidly during his youth, Nevelle boasts a rather polished style having being influenced by very different genres and artists worldwide. “Day Ellen Awe" Is the first release from Sir Viraco’s most recent work of audio art but you can look forward to the release of his highly anticipated debut EP titled “Empire + Dream + Forever” which is set to drop Summer '13."

CONFZ - Breathe (Video)

CONFZ, a 20-year-old emcee from East London, returns with a visual for one of the stand out tracks from his free debut solo EP, "Conscience." The song is called "Breathe" and it's one of my favorites off the EP.
"The heartfelt track puts aside the dark side that is present in so many of CONFZ' tracks, and allows him to be introspective and vent some real emotion. The intentionally simplistic visual, directed by SK, perfectly matches the tempo and vibe of the FGM produced track that is quickly becoming a fan favourite."

Also remember to check out the full Conscience EP as well as follow CONFZ on Twitter.

Paper Plates - Degenerate Art EP (prod. by Juna Cosmos)

Degenerate Art is the debut EP from up-and-coming UK rapper Paper Plates. The EP is produced entirely by his friend and collaborator Juna Cosmos.
"The concept comes from the persecution of modern artists under the Nazi regime," explains Juna. "Throughout the EP we've aimed to take this idea and comment on the current state of music/art with a post-modern approach to song-writing and overall composition. For example Kim Kardashian is referenced alongside the works of Dante, drawing on a wide and disparate range of influences to create something original and different. The project itself is, so to speak, a work of modern art."
The beats are psychedelic and dark, which perfectly complements the dope flow and lyrical prowess of Paper Plates. This EP is incredibly ill. Check out the video for Gutter Mouth and then listen to the full EP below. Also make sure to follow Paper Plates and Juna Cosmos on Twitter for the latest updates. Don't sleep on this!
