Boston rapper Stiz Grimey comes through just in time for Halloween with some visuals for his track "Lizzie Borden". The song finds Stiz Grimy telling the haunting story of Lizzie Borden, a young woman who was tried and acquitted for murdering her father and stepmother with an axe in Fall River, MA back in 1892. The story hits kind of close to home for Stiz, who lives nearby to where the murders happened all those years ago. Peep the video below.

According to Allen Poe himself, the album "plays a lot on nature metaphors to illustrate the growth we go through as people from the different experiences we typically encounter between our 20's through our early 30's". I gave it a good listen earlier and it's real ill, so don't sleep.

Be sure to give it a listen if you are a fan of jazzy hip-hop instrumentals. Peep it below.
C.Shreve The Professor comes through with his latest track "Be True", which features the North Carolina emcee linking up with Ill Will over a soulful Handbook production. The beat is real dope and the rhymes are just as strong, with both emcees being "largely influenced by the police militarization we continue to see in Ferguson and elsewhere." Peep it below.

The "Matte Black" EP is set to be released this winter and will be followed up by the duo's next collaborative LP, which is set to drop sometime in the Summer of 2015. Also, if you haven't peep it yet, make sure you check out Awon and Phonik's banging album "Return to the Golden Era", which dropped last year.

Very nice. Peep it below.

The song is produced by St. Peter (who produced some of my favorite cuts on Killah Priest's "Psychic World of Walter Reed" album) and it's real dope. I'm not sure where this one is going to end up, but I'm definitely feelin' it. If you like what you hear, make sure you also check out God Chyld's "Forever" EP, which dropped last year and was produced by Godz Wrath producer Jordan River Banks.
