Killah Priest - Planet of the Gods (Review)

Killah Priest - Planet of the Gods

"Planet of the Gods" is the latest album from Wu-Tang Clan affiliate and Sunz of Man member Killah Priest. The album is fully produced by Dutch production crew Godz Wrath (Jordan River Banks, Black Marvel and Ciph Barker) with co-production from Kombo, Def Buurmen and Basrabas. It is set to be released on June 15, 2015 via Proverb Records.

The Four Horsemen (Ras Kass, Kurupt, Canibus, Killah Priest) - Historic Remix (ft. Tragedy Khadafi)

The Four Horsemen - Historic Remix (ft. Tragedy Khadafi)

Gemstarr Regime producer BP comes through with another unreleased exclusive, this time with a remix for the track "Historic". The original version of this cut was one of the standout tracks from Canibus' last album "Fait Accompli", but I'm actually diggin the beat on this BP remix more than the original version. Peep it below.

Timbo King ft Killah Priest & William Cooper - Outside Intel/Realm #7 (Single)

Gemstarr Regime producer BP hits us with another unreleased exclusive in the form of the track "Outside Intel/Realm #7", which is from Black Market Militia/Wu-Tang affiliate Timbo King. The song features the Royal Fam emcee linking up with fellow Black Market Militia rappers Killah Priest and William Cooper over an epic BP production. This shit is fire. Peep it below.

Killah Priest - P.W.O.W.R.: The Lost Tracks (Review)

"P.W.O.W.R.: The Lost Tracks" is the latest official EP from Brooklyn emcee and Wu-Tang Clan affiliate Killah Priest. The EP was released as part of Priest's "The Psychic World of Walter Reed: Illuminated Lyrics" kickstarter project and has recently been made available to those who pledged certain amounts. The project is made up of lost tracks from Killah Priest's most recent album, "The Psychic World of Walter Reed".

Canibus - Historic (ft Kurupt, Ras Kass, Killah Priest and Tragedy Khadafi)

Canibus - Historic

Canibus just dropped the latest single from his upcoming "Fait Accompli" album in the form of the track "Historic." The song is notable as being the first new Four Horsemen single in quite a while, with Canibus teaming up with West Coast hip-hop veterans Kurupt and Rass Kass as well as one of my favorite Wu-Tang affiliates Killah Priest. Bis also takes it a step further and adds QB legend Tragedy Khadafi into the mix as all five emcees spit fire over a softer instrumental than I was expecting, but it's still dope. "Fait Accompli" is set to drop on June 10, 2014 and is currently available for preorder over on Amazon and iTunes.

Killah Priest - New Reality (Video)

Killah Priest comes through with some new visuals for his track "New Reality", which is one of the bangers from his "Psychic World of Walter Reed" album that dropped back in February of 2013. This joint was one of the best songs on the album for me, with Priest spitting his usual deep rhymes over a head nodding Jordan River Banks instrumental. The whole album is fire, though, and was easily one of the top albums of 2013 for me. Check out the video and then peep my full review of the album. Don't sleep.

Killah Priest - Ein Sof and The Tower (Videos)

Killah Priest recently dropped two more videos from his latest album, The Psychic World of Walter Reed. The first video is for the track Ein Sof  (Paradise), which is produced by Jordan River Banks. The video is animated, similar to his video for The Winged People, and its crazy.

The second video is for Tower (The Visitor), which is produced by St Peter. The video is directed by Dr. Zodiak and its pretty dope. I need to get one of those Priesthood hoodies.

Check out my full review of The Psychic World of Walter Reed - Disc 1 and Disc 2.
Also, make sure you cop the album and support real hip-hip. This is easily one of the best releases of the year so far.

Killah Priest - Heavy Mental (Throwback Review)

Killah Priest - Heavy Mental

With Killah Priest recently dropping his extremely dope new album The Psychic World of Walter Reed, I decided to dig out my favorite album from him - 1998's Heavy Mental. This was Priests first solo album and actually ended up coming out before his first group album with Sunz of Man - The Last Shall Be First. I remember scrounging the internet looking for Real Audio leaks off of this album since I was fiending for it after his appearances on various Wu-Tang projects. Just mentioning Real Audio makes me feel old. Anyways, how is the album? Click to find out.

Killah Priest - The Winged People (Video)

Killah Priest just dropped a video for track The Winged People off of his new album The Psychic World of Walter Reed. This is one of my favorite songs on the album and the video is crazy.

Also, make sure you cop the album and support real hip-hip.

Killah Priest - The Psychic World of Walter Reed (Disc 1) Review

Killah Priest - The Psychic World of Walter Reed (2013)

I'm going to break this review for P.W.O.W.R up into two separate posts since there are 41 tracks spanning the two discs. Also, this will be a kind of "train-of-thought" review since, well, there are 41 track to get through. Click below to read the review for Disc 1. You can read the review for Disc 2 here.

Killah Priest - The Psychic World of Walter Reed Snippets

Killah Priest is FINALLY about to release his new album "The Psychic World of Walter Reed" on February 25, 2013. This album was announced what seems like forever ago and has suffered through numerous delays. Priest has always been one of my favorite MCs and I consider his first solo album, Heavy Mental, to be one of the upper echelon Wu-Fam releases. Production on P.W.O.W.R is mostly handled by Godz Wrath, but also features some tracks by The Rza, True Masta, 4th Disciple, Ayatollah and St. Peter. Featured guests are Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck, Rza and Gza, among others.

Priest recently released snippets of the full album and all of the tracks sound really promising.

You can pre-order the full album on the PWOWR website.
